Building a strong future: Hibernia Steel’s dedication to supporting local youth sports
At Hibernia Steel, we’ve always been committed to supporting our community. We are strong believers in the power of sports in shaping young lives and bringing communities together – empowering youth sports through sponsorship in our local area is our way of playing our part.
Sport has a unique way of shaping individuals and communities, so we’ve committed to supporting three local sports clubs.
Supporting the Junior Golf Programme at County Louth Golf Club
County Louth Golf Club, which hosted the Irish Open in 2004 and 2009, has always been interested in sharing its passion for golf with young people. Our partnership with County Louth GC has created incredible opportunities for young people to learn what makes golf such a great sport and for aspiring golfers to develop their skills.
Helping Boyne Hockey Club
Boyne Hockey Club is close to our hearts – the impact they have in the local community is an inspiration to us. Hibernia Steel is proud to help the club bring hockey to everyone in the Drogheda and the surrounding area. We’ve always recognised the value of team sports and appreciated the camaraderie, discipline, and physical fitness it fosters in young people.
Investing in our local GAA team in Slane
One of Ireland’s oldest football clubs, Slane GFC, has always had a particularly high youth membership. We are proud of the impact on the lives of aspiring athletes and their communities our sponsoring initiative has had, and we remain dedicated to supporting our local GAA team by investing in resources and infrastructure.
Our current partnerships solidify our commitment to our local area.
