HOW HIBERNIA STEEL STARTED
Set up by Ray and Maria Moore in 1990, Hibernia Steel Products Limited has always been a family run business. Today, the company is being run by their son Raymond who has been involved in the company from a very young age.
From working in the yard to sales in the office to senior management roles, before assuming the role of Managing Director in recent years, Raymond has gained invaluable experience in all aspects of the business; experience and resourcefulness that is reflected in how highly our returning customers value our work.
HOW WE BEACAME IRELAND PREMIER STEEL SUPPLIER
In 2017, Hibernia Steel Products Ltd moved from its site in Drogheda to our new home, a site five times larger in Grangegeeth, Slane, County Meath. This move allowed us to carry more steel stock and add more services to our stockholding business.
Starting in January 2020, with our state-of-the-art shot blasting and priming machine, we have grown our capabilities to meet demand and shave time off for customers. We also added a cutting and drilling line helping us meet the needs of a vast range of customers nationwide.
